In the build up to our LEJOG cycle for #teamhamish every week we will be posting profiles of each of the cyclists. First up is the man who came up with the idea for this huge challenge….

How’s training going for the big cycle: Training is going slowly but picking up now, life is getting out of the way. I am petrified that I am not doing enough
Reasons for taking part in this challenge: I had seen so much about #TeamHamish and although I didn’t really know the family, I felt I just had to help them build the lasting legacy befitting the memory of their brave hero Hamish. The way they have handled everything that life has thrown at them is inspirational to all.
What are you looking forward to on the cycle: I am most looking forward to the incredible challenge and creating the lifelong friendships that can only be built during the collective punishment we are about to endure.
What are you least looking forward to on the cycle: Least looking forward to looking at Colin’s bum for a week as he is the only one doing enough training and bound to be out front every day
